The Tri-County Technical College Corporate and Community Education Division will offer a new A+ Computer Service Technician Certificate class starting Monday.
The class will meet from Jan. 30 until May 14 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Mondays at the school’s campus on U.S. 76 in Pendleton.
Students will learn to install, upgrade, repair, configure, optimize, troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance on basic personal computer hardware and operating systems. The class is targeted to anyone with basic computer user skills who is interested in obtaining a job as an IT professional or PC technician. The course also will help prepare students to achieve a CompTIA A+ Certification.
