This is a software designed to make your AVI and MPEG playback easier and at a much better quality, on your computer or on a TV that is connected to your computer. The software is basically a DirectShow filter that is loaded instead of the default direct sound audio renderer.
The tool provides another reference clock that is locked to your video card hardware clock, to be sure that you play the frames at the correct speed of what is known by your video card’s vertical sync.
The software includes a frame rate adapter to use with media files that do not match the multiple of your video cards refresh rate.
Known issues about this software :
It is possible that ReClock can not correct the video clock from videocards with dual head capabilities or 2 RAMDACS. It dows not run properly on Windows 98.
When ReClock is selected as active reference clock you cannot use graphedit to save a graph.
When playback of DVD using DXVA mode, VSync correction and the frame rate detection will not be possible.
This new release has new features like: the installation of 3DSound / Wave support/ TMT3 support / PowerDVD support can be disabled during setup. Automatically saves settings when you leave the graph filter.
